The room was much nicer than I had hoped for with such a low rate & the outside showing it's age. The owners remodeled three years ago. They are extremely hospitable & my stay was very pleasant & comfortable.
I ended up staying for several months due to work. The room was very clean! No bugs. No bed bugs. No anything but clean. Cleaning crew were professional and did not mess with any of my things. Management was mindful in keeping those that worked early hours on one side and others on another. The location was close to pretty much anything and anywhere. At first the train would wake me but after a few nights...I slept through it. BTW...you can hear the train from pretty much anywhere in town. I always felt secure here. This was the first time I have stayed at am extended stay motel and was pleasantly surprised.
We stayed here for 2 weeks while we were packing to move out of portales. Owners were very attentive and always had a smile on their face! Update posted 09/27/24 Having a Good Time Here ! Peaceful & Quiet, Love The Owners Here !
